    Job Title: Sr Analyst, Supply Chain
    Location: Store Support Center - Supply Chain

    Position Overview
    The sr analyst, supply chain, is responsible for guiding the company’s performance on inventory reduction initiatives. This position will work closely with demand planning management to evaluate and improve the activity of the demand planning team.
    Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities
    • Develop and implement processes, queries and tools to drive inventory reduction initiatives as well as progress reporting in regards to aged, excess, dead, discontinued, and residual inventory.
    • Address inventory level concerns of unsalable goods through sales trend analysis and product movement.
    • Participate in the training and development of the supply chain analyst team.
    • Develop and implement enhancement processes to make C&S reporting more actionable.
    • Analyze and report daily performance metrics to the management and executive teams around service level, out of stocks and allocations; provide explanation as to the root cause when necessary.
    • Organize and conduct supply chain initiative meetings as needed.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert with data extraction tools including Hyperion; utilize supply chain optimization tools to perform network and transportation analytics as needed.
    • Work with category teams to develop and implement plans to improve cost, service and quality.
    • Support strategic sourcing initiatives through category supply chain review, process mapping and analytics.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics provider to ensure efficient development and implementation of supply chain initiatives.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of industry practices in the area of supply chain systems and processes in order to enhance the competitive position of the company.
    • Develop techniques to improve procurement and demand planning functions including forecasting, replenishment buying and forward buying.
    • Complete special projects for management as requested.
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
    Minimum Qualifications
    Minimum
    • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain or related field and four (4) years experience in retail, procurement, supply chain or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Demonstrated advanced PC skills including proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
    • Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
    • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
    • Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
    • Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
    • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills and ability to craft unique reporting solutions for management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex and detailed information to a diverse population.
    • Previous experience with Oracle’s Hyperion Business Intelligence program.
