The Practice Coordinator is responsible for coordinating facility day to day operations including but not limited to daily collections, staffing needs, assuring patient service standards, maximum schedule utilization and accessibility levels are met.  Models superior patient experience behaviors and supports all Care Team members in providing a superior patient experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Exhibits best in class customer service skills - ultimately providing the best patient experience -and modeling these for all other Care Team members.

Assists in scheduling, handling call offs and covering required staffing.

Resolves all patient issues to ensure the ultimate patient experience. Refer any difficult situations immediately to Practice Leader/Manager for assistance and resolution

Follows-up on practice performance re:  buckets, TOS service to include collections and scheduling, huddles and holds.

Ensures that all logs and mandatory records are being properly maintained.

Assists with implementing new policies, procedures and initiatives and consistently monitor compliance.


Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has supervisory responsibilities under direction of the Practice Leader/Manager.

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; at least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees, direct report.


Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Organizational Skills

Ability to prioritize, organize, multi-task in an efficient manner.


Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Athena Database (preferred) software; Microsoft Spreadsheet software; Microsoft Word Processing software and Google Chrome Internet software.
