What you will be doing 

As a Web UI Software Development Engineer, you will be focusing on deliver high-quality web applications with superior user experience.

This individual has a broad understanding of Single Page Application (SPA) architecture and deep understanding of Angular, JavaScript and TypeScript. Ideally also experience consuming and developing REST based services using Java. Works in/with an Agile Development Team to deliver quality products to the customer, on time and aligned with expectations, with a focus on development and design. In the process, actively contributes positively to product design, thought leadership and continuous improvement of the Team (s)he is a part of.  This person is highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Responsible for development activities for assigned tasks and stories
  • Participates in scrum ceremonies, including review and planning of stories and creation of development tasks
  • Stays up to date, and follows defined best practices to for the complete Software Development Life Cycle
  • Develops new code and maintain existing code
  • Works closely with architects and peers to understand current practices and guidelines as well as providing feedback and new ideas to constantly improve
  • Works closely together with Business Analysts and UX designers to make sure there is a clear understanding of what needs to be developed and are also actively contributing with alternative approaches and design ideas that will shorten implementation without compromising on quality or desired result.
  • Effectively communicates development activities and findings in oral and written forms
  • Familiar with scrum/agile best practices
  • Self-starter and a quick learner
  • Actively participates in scrum demos
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

 What you bring: 

Overall 4-6 years in IT (at least 2 years developing Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Angular 4+, TypeScript, CSS 3/SASS and HTML5) 

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience developing Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Angular 4+, TypeScript, CSS 3/SASS and HTML5
  • Proven experience with Rest Services and JSON
  • GIT
  • Willing to work in afternoon shift timings 12.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent
