FIS asset management solutions help institutional investors, hedge funds, private equity firms, fund administrators and securities transfer agents improve both investment decision-making and operational efficiency, while managing risk and increasing transparency. FIS's solutions support every stage of the investment process, from research and portfolio management, to valuation, risk management, compliance, investment, accounting, transfer agency and client reporting

What you will be doing

In this role, you will report to the Head of Client Services, APAC. You will be part of a team of 6 to run BAU support and maintain FIS software for our client. This role will involve providing application and technical support and to deliver external and internal training on a regular basis.

  • Ensure successful completion of day-to-day batch for both Ambit Liability Management and MR from its mainframe jobs through its ETL jobs until the end of Ambit Focus internal tasks.

  • Respond to production incidents and resolve them within the allocated SLA time which varies on the incident classification.

  • Responsible for the progression of incident tickets assigned to ALM through task delegation to multiple third-party support groups, approval requests and follow-ups, execution support and ticket update until the it is closed.

  • Responsible for several maintenance tasks that are done regularly to prevent issues in day-to-day operations.

  • Responsible for the turnover of his work through change requests and must oversee/support progression until successful implementation is confirmed.

  • Support project-related activities such as, but not limited to, impact analysis, GAP Analysis, SI testing, UA testing, issue investigation, data extraction etc.


What you bring:
  • Must know SQL, Visual Basic, C#, DOS commands, basic Cobol
  • Must be familiar with (or willing to learn) Windows 2008 Operating system

  • Must be familiar with (or willing to learn) Visual Studio 2008-Business Intelligence Development Studio

  • Must be willing to learn basic ZENA scheduler operations

  • Must be willing to learn basic JCL, COBOL and DFSort

  • Must be willing to learn basic CA7 scheduler operations

  • Must be willing to learn basic functionalities of Ambit Focus application
