About the team:

FIS Integrated Payables helps companies realize significant cost savings, increase operational efficiencies, and enhance relationships with trading partners and employees through well-defined controls and innovative processes, allowing payments and remittance details to be delivered electronically.  FIS Integrated Payables manages all of the various secure bank connections for the customer.  FIS Integrated Payables also enables corporations to transition from printing and mailing checks with remittances to either ACH electronic payments or credit card payments with electronic remittances, without requiring changes to existing A/P processes.

What you will be doing

You will manage daily inside sales and administrative teams that convert client payables into electronically delivered spend, via multiple modalities.  

  • Manages various staffs and functions, including outbound sales and sales related functions (both inbound and outbound) that are directly tied to the recognition of divisional revenue.
  • Delivers an environment that meets all service level agreements and delivers activity that meets or exceeds department financial goals and service levels.
  • Develops, recommends and executes tactical and strategic processes for various operational and sales teams.
  • Recruits, hires, trains, develops and leads efficient and effective team members.
  • Identifies and recommends cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives within the processing area.
  • Owns and drives the prioritization and development of features and product life cycle on all core platforms, tools and portals used by the various teams.
  • Participates in customer and partner facing meetings and presentation as need to support and sell the value of the vendor enablement team and process. 
  • Develop and provide period reporting to both internal and external audiences, showing the detailed and overall performance of the teams.
  • Manage and develop both variable compensation plans as well as performance tools such as scorecards, to drive ever-increasing performance improvement.
  • Ensures all backup and recovery and disaster recovery processes will meet or exceed business requirements.
  • Develops and implements team standards and procedures that support departmental standards and procedures.
  • Develops and executes project plans, budgets and schedules for documentation of work and results.
  • Develops, manages and forecasts the budgets for the relevant cost centers.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

  • Knowledge of all processing phases
  • Knowledge of FIS products and systems
  • Proficiency in client communication and escalation management
  • Proficiency to effectively supervise, lead and manage staff members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
  • Excellent problem solving, team and time management skills managing multiple deadlines for self and others
  • Proficiency in evaluating the performance capabilities of subordinates as well as counsel subordinates in development and/or corrective discipline
  • Proficiency in making projections of future expenses based on analysis of cost effectiveness of past expenditures
  • Proficiency to operate independently
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
